Making Wooden Coasters

I love having tea time but my problem was that sometimes my teacup or pot would leave these circular white marks on my wood table. Yesterday I had some down time so I decided to make some custom coasters from scrap wood I could find in my school's lab. (one of the bears has a star on his forehead bc it was scrap wood)
I only had 1.5 hours so I decided to use the trusty laser cutter. I debated making coasters the old school way with the wood shop but ultimately decided that the laser cutter was faster and better for a quick project.
In the house I share with my partner, we have somewhat of a bear motif happening. I made a bear themed trivet out of wood last semester and wanted to keep that theme going. It also happens that on my social media there is this cartoon bear and panda couple who keeps popping up and I never fail to send those videos to him saying "this is so us".
The end product are these simple circle coasters with the bear decals etched into them. From here I will sand the edges and stain them so that they can be more water resistant and hopefully last longer.
