Practicing Poster Design

I have always hated doing things for no reason, but recently I was watching a graphic design Youtuber Jesse Nyberg and he mentioned that you can't get quality without doing the quantity. When I look back at the first designs I did for my old job, they were not that great. I can see my own growth as a graphic designer. So far, I have been doing a lot of corporate designs for work but not really exploring the styles I really like. This poster is my first step in creating something more for my own taste and a new kind of look. I am also practicing new tools in photoshop and illustrator which is quite fun as well. I am especially liking the 3D material tools built right into illustrator.
