Won AthenaHacks Beginner Prize

Earlier this year I participated in a 24 hour hackathon for women in tech. It was a crazy 24 hours but the hard work paid off when our team ended up winning the Beginner prize!
My team met by chance when we happened to be sitting next to each other when the event started. The biggest struggle we had was to agree on an idea that we were all excited to make. The idea that really got our gears turning was an app that would gamify the wake-up process through friendly competition between friends and family. The user would create a group and complete a challenge within a certain time limit of their morning alarm going off. The "quest" could be something as simple as taking a selfie of yourself brushing your teeth. Within the group, players set certain stakes where at the end of the week the losing or winning player is either met with punishment or reward! It's all up the group.
